The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust (TEFAT) is the Admissions Authority for The Hyde School, meaning the Trust is responsible for determining the admissions arrangements and managing any subsequent processes for the school.

Reception Admissions

If your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023, you will need to apply for a Reception place starting September 2027.

• The application process opens on 1 September 2026 and closes on 15 January 2027.

• National offer day: 16 April 2027.

Appeals

While Barnet Council supports the admissions process, families wishing to appeal an admissions decision must submit their appeal directly to The Hyde School. To begin an appeal, please contact the school office, who will provide the necessary information and guidance on the next steps.

Barnet Council manages the appeals process on behalf of the school, including the arrangements for an independent appeal panel.
