We are proud to offer our children the opportunity to be part of The Saturday Project at The Hyde School. This well-established programme provides fun, engaging activities that support literacy, numeracy, and scientific learning, while also helping children develop social, emotional, and life skills.
The project is fully funded by Lehman Brothers Foundation Europe, whose generous support allows us to offer this unique experience to our students.
Running for 25 weeks during term time, The Saturday Project is child-led. In partnership with Parkfield School (a local TEFAT school), we offer places to 75 children across Key Stage Two. Each half-term, children vote on a theme, and we plan lessons and activities that align with the National Curriculum. We also organise trips and invite professionals or workshops into school, giving children experiences they might not otherwise have.
With the support of Lehman Brothers Foundation Europe, we are proud to provide this enriching opportunity. The Saturday Project has a clear, positive impact, supporting children both academically and holistically.
