The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust (TEFAT) is the Admissions Authority for The Hyde School, meaning the Trust is responsible for determining the admissions arrangements and managing any subsequent processes for the school.
If your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022, you will need to apply for a Reception place starting September 2026.
The application process opens on 1 September 2025 and closes on 15 January 2026.
National offer day: 16 April 2026.
You can register and apply for a Reception place via the Barnet Council eAdmissions site: https://www.barnet.gov.uk/schools-and-education/school-admissions
While Barnet Council supports the admissions process, all appeals must be made directly to The Hyde School. Barnet Council does not manage the appeals process for our school.
If you wish to appeal an admissions decision, please contact the school office directly. Appeals are handled by the Headteacher, who will provide the necessary information and documentation to begin the process.
For admissions outside the main intake rounds (in‑year admissions), please visit the relevant section on the Barnet Council website: https://www.barnet.gov.uk/schools-and-education/school-admissions/year-admissions Barnet Council
Our Nursery is currently full; however, you can apply for a place for September 2026. Please click here to complete an application form for a place at our school Nursery.
